AARP's purpose, vision, & Vales

The commitment, vision, and action of the first AARP Chapters lives on today. AARP's

mission is to improve the quality of life for people as they age by leading positive social change and providing value to members through advocacy, information, and service to people over 50. AARP's vision is a society where all people can live with dignity and purpose and fulfill their goals and dreams. AARP's purpose is to empower people to choose how they live as they age. AARP's values of making an impact, innovation, humanity, empowerment, and honesty express what we stand for and what we believe. These values reflect how we treat each other as well as those we serve. They are also our internal compass guiding how we show up, what we deliver, how we make decisions, and how we communicate.
